Recreational Students

Please note: if your child has dance classes back-to-back, they will not be required to change between classes. For example, if your child has ballet class to start and jazz class to follow, they will not have to change from pink bodysuit/pink tights to black bodysuit/beige tights. They will remain in the same outfit for the duration of their classes that day. Hair to always be pulled back off face in ballet bun. Please keep in mind that acro is done bare foot (convertible pink/tan tights as required). For example, if your child has an acro/ballet/jazz combo class, they should wear convertible tights.

Competitive Students

Specific requirements per competitive company will be sent out prior to the dance season. Additional foot wear/tights may be required dependant on competitive costumes.

Ballet/Pointe: any style black bodysuit, pink full footed tight, pink ballet shoes (BLOCH split sole leather/SO DANCA canvas), BLOCH character shoes/skirt (if applicable to RAD exam level) and any brand pointe shoes 

Jazz: any style black bodysuit, beige full footed tight,  BLOCH black/tan elasta jazz booties

Tap: any style black bodysuit, beige full footed tight, BLOCK/JSS tap shoes

Lyrical/Contemporary: any style black bodysuit, pink full footed tight, foot paws

Policies & Procedures

Absence Due to Illness:

Dancers must stay home if they are sick for the health and safety of our community. If your child has new or worsening symptoms, please keep them home. There are no make up classes or refunds for classes missed due to illness.

Class Viewing:

Our viewing windows are open upstairs for class viewing for Studios 1 and 2 with a live stream video for Studio 3.

Tuition Payment:

We require a VOID check or PAP form upon registration. We debit the 15th of every month in 10 instalments from Sept-June. There is an annual $35.00 registration fee per family and a recital costume fee that is debited in the New Year. Registration fees are non-refundable. Credit cards are not accepted as a form of payment at this time. Please contact us for our recital costume fees & tuition fees. Any further pre-authorized fees must be requested to be stopped in writing a minimum of 5 business days prior to the payment being processed.

Late Payments:

A $25.00 late fee will be charged to your next tuition payment for any returned charges.

Discounts:

A 5% tuition discount is applied to families with 2 or more dancers.

Withdrawal/Cancelation Policy:

A 30 day cancellation notice will be required when a student is withdrawing/cancelling from a class.

Cancelled Classes:

We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrolment. If applicable, you will be given the option to transfer into another class for any cancelled classes due to this reason.

Inclement Weather:

On occasion, classes may be cancelled due to poor weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control. We will do our best to contact you in advance via email. We are unable to offer refunds or make up classes for the ones cancelled due to these circumstances.

Mandated Studio Closure:

In the event of imposed government restrictions, classes will be maintained via a virtual platform and fee structures will remain in place.
